JCB 8026 CTS Hire
British-built 3-tonne workhorse.
The JCB 8026 is a benchmark 3-tonne mini excavator — robust Perkins engine, proper dig depth, and enough power for serious groundworks. Built for the UK market.
The JCB 8026 CTS is a resilient 3-tonne mini excavator that balances power, agility and reliability. With a Perkins 404D-22T engine delivering 24.7 kW, it has the muscle for heavier groundworks while remaining compact enough for restricted-access sites.
JCB build quality shows in the small details — easier daily maintenance access, good operator sightlines, and hydraulics that hold up to long shifts without overheating. A solid choice for builders who want a dependable 3-tonne without the premium price tag of a CAT or Takeuchi.

Questions about this machine
Both are excellent 3-tonne machines. JCB tends to feel more familiar to UK operators used to larger JCB kit; Bobcat is slightly more compact on tail swing. For most jobs, either works — pick on availability.
